PINEVILLE – The Louisiana College Men's Tennis team wrapped its 2010 campaign with five games in three days last weekend with great efforts against Texas Dallas, Millsaps, William Carey and Belhaven and an amazing performance versus Rust College.

In the end, LC fell 9-0 to all but Rust, who the Wildcats lost to by a final count of 6-3.

In the Rust game, two LC singles competitors, Ryan Meadows and Cliff Magee, were victorious. Meadows posted a 6-0, 6-0 win over Sam McBride and Magee won via forfeit.

In doubles action, the team of Josh Vickery and Josh Engen defeated McBride and Quinton Randle 8-3.

In other singles action, Jonathan Parker defeated Mike Sumner 6-3 and 6-3, Larry Aaron defeated Nathan Boles 6-0 and 6-0, Peter Ngutu defeated Vickery 6-1 and 6-1 and Randle defeated Engen 6-2 and 6-1.

In other doubles matches, Aaron and Ngutu defeated Boles and Magee 8-2 and Parker and Jonathan Joseph defeated Sumner and Meadows 8-5.
