PINEVILLE - Given the fact that they were playing the No. 20 team in all the land, the Louisiana College men's tennis team's performance in Saturday's 9-0 loss was admirable.

Nathan Boles lost 6-1 and 6-0 to David Ashlock, Josh Vickery to Joshua Chavez 6-0 and 6-0, Cliff Magee to Kevin Wright 6-0 and 6-0, Ryan Meadows to Shaun Maddox 6-0 and 6-0, Michael Sumner to Brad Fenter 6-0 and 6-0 and Josh Engen to Chayce Stone 6-0 and 6-0.

In doubles action, Boles and Magee fell 8-1 to Ashlock and Andrew Reznik, Sumner and Meadows 8-1 to Chavez and Austin Gonzalez and Vickery and Enger 8-0 to Wright and Fenter.
