Box Score
PINEVILLE, La. - Sophomore Natosha Gottlieb came through in a big way, and at an opportune time, for the Louisiana College women, scoring 34 points and pulling down eight rebounds in a 71-60 win over Mary Hardin-Baylor in American Southwest Conference action.

In a game that LC trailed 26-24 at the half, Gottlieb launched a ferocious attach on the lane to spark a win for the still-undefeated Lady Cats (8-0, 6-0 ASC), going 11-for-17 from the field, 3-for-4 from three-point range and 9-for-15 at the free-throw line.

She added an assist and three steals on the night to truly fill up the stat sheet.

Mary Hardin-Baylor (6-2, 3-1) seemed determined to not be defeated by Tillisha Givens, LC's senior forward and preseason All-American, and schemed her out for most of the game.

Late in the contest, though, Givens came alive and hit several key shots to finish with 10 points, five rebounds, one assist and one steal.

Junior point guard Roslyn Wilmer also came up big for LC scoring 10 points, dishing out a pair of assists, pulling down four rebounds and making two steals.

Senior shooting guard Janet Butler, who went 4-for-4 from the line, all four coming in the game's waning moments, added seven points in the win.

Mary Hardin-Baylor was led by Lindsay Eaton, who put up a 17-point, 12-rebound double-double, as well as Landie Thompson, who scored 10 points for the Cru.

Next up for LC will be a Saturday visit to Hattiesburg, Miss., for a non-conference showdown with William Carey at 3 p.m.
