Prepped at Rapides High School in nearby Lecompte... Played softball as well as basketball for the Mustangs... Named First Team All-District in both sports as both a junior & senior... Also won first place at a district rally for physics as a senior.

Born January 3, 2002 in Opelousas, La... Goes by "Beth"... Daughter of David & Pamela Newton... Her mom, Pamela, played basketball at Louisiana College in 1991-92... Has two brothers, Jeremiah & Noah... Enjoys reading, painting, & playing video games... Listens to classic rock... Favorite band is The Beatles... Likes watching the Marvel Cinematic Universe... Favorite TV show is "The Office"... Favorite actress is Jennifer Lawrence... Goes to Chick-fil-A for a spicy chicken sandwich with only pepper jack cheese... One thing no one knows about her is that her eyes appear to change from green to blue depending on what she's wearing... Hopes to become a teacher & coach... Majors in education at LC.
