KANSAS CITY – The reigning Sooner Athletic Conference champion Louisiana Christian University football team heads into homecoming week back inside the top 20 of both NAIA Football Polls as new rankings were announced on Monday.
 
Louisiana Christian (4-1, 3-0 SAC) moved up one spot back into the #19 spot in Monday's NAIA Coaches Top 25 following the 69-24 win over Oklahoma Panhandle State on Saturday. The Wildcats remained at #17 in the Victory Sports Network's Media Top 25 which also came out on Monday.
 
LCU is awaiting to see its ranking in a third poll, the NAIAFBALL Media Top 25, which most recently came out last Tuesday. It had the Wildcats at #14 heading into the game against the Aggies.
 
The Wildcats (4-1, 3-0 SAC) will play the second of three-straight home games, this being homecoming and renewing the Battle of the Border Claw rivalry game with LCU's NCAA D3 and American Southwest Conference foe, East Texas Baptist. Kickoff of Saturday's game against the Tigers (2-2) is set for 4 p.m. at Wildcat Field and will be streamed on YouTube through the 446Sports channel and the Urban Edge Network.
