Wildcats Top Performers:

  • Lost in the midst of the excitement surrounding yet another epic RRAC Tournament run by the Pineville Nine, we forgot to acknowledge a significant milestone for graduate student Adrian Aguilar:

                        * Aguilar recorded his 200th career base hit while representing the Orange and Blue in the First Round win versus Texarkana as he will enter postseason play at 204 which includes 41 doubles, seven home runs, and four triples.

  • On a sluggish offensive afternoon that saw the Diamond Cats get just six runners safely aboard, two of those instances were by Tyler McKenna, ruining the Pilots' shutout bid by unleashing his 11th home run in two years representing "The Hill" along with walking.

  • The other primary contributor with the aluminum stick was Braden McLin, as the 2025 RRAC Hustle Award winner and All-Tournament selection also drew a free pass in addition to singling.

  • In terms of pitching, Seth Whitney went for two scoreless innings out of the bullpen with one whiff, Kade Linn allowed zero runs and tallied three outs after Whitney exited, and lastly Braxton Cooksey picked up one K during a spotless frame to lower the ERA.

  • He did not pitch in the Championship, but Colton Williams was one of just two non-Pilots players to earn RRAC All-Tournament Team status.
