PINEVILLE, La. – The #6 seed Louisiana Christian University softball program is officially in win-or-go-home mode from this point forward after the #3 seed Texas A&M-Texarkana Eagles dropped eight unanswered runs on the Wildcats in the final two frames to come away with a 10-2 decision in five.

• Madelyn Bourgoyne was responsible for the lone RBI driven home by LCU, roping an infield single in-and-out of a diving third baseman's glove, rolling into centerfield in a wild sequence of events.

 

• Carley Koch and Emma Hunt both reached the base paths safely multiple times with the former singling plus coaxing four balls while the latter walked twice including stealing career base number 113.

 

• Mariel Medrano as well as Bevan Hartnett completed the base hit producers whereas Lexi Broussard plus Claire Cullen logged free passes with Addison Greak and Cullen scoring the two runs.

 

• Bella Houck saw her hitting streak die at a dozen but witnessed her on-base streak live on, making its way to 17 in-a-row courtesy of a walk during her final at-bat in the fifth.
