PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University softball program was witnesses to history in game one of Tuesday's regular season home finale doubleheader as
Emma Hunt broke Briley Johnston's four-year school record for most career stolen bases, wasting no time by stealing both second and third following a leadoff single in the first inning of the club's 13-2, run-rule win over Jarvis Christian.
Johnston, who spent 2018-21 patrolling the outfield and terrorizing catchers, had amassed 107 swipes in 132 games as a Wildcat while Hunt sits at 108 (and counting) after 175 contests with a success rate of 91.5% (108-of-118).

- Bella Houck reached safely in all four trips to the batter's box, going 3-for-3 with a base on balls and a ribbie.
- Carly Carpenter and Camryn Reeves held down the fort once Greak left, hammering down the 11-run triumph with nary an earned run given up while recording the final six outs.
- Brooke Ross pinch-hit for history-maker and set off fireworks of her own, smoking a seeing-eye single the opposite way through he hole between first and second base to score Jordan Dauthier plus Lexi Broussard.
- Dauthier and Bevan Hartnett had a pair of things in common regarding their stat sheet with each logging two knocks, one double apiece, while the former scored a run and the latter cashed in an RBI.
