Wildcats Top Performers:
Â
- Caydance Lobdell has transformed into a home run hitting, run producing machine as of late, hitting her second long ball over her past four at-bats, clobbering a three-run shot straight down the left field line to break the game open (8-0) in the third while also being one of two ladies to walk home a run with the bases loaded in the first to finish with four RBIs and a pair of scores.
Â
- The catching tandem of Reagan Duplechain and Ashlyn Ogden both recorded career firsts as Duplechain knocked in her first and second ever RBIs on her first extra-base hit (double) and Ogden made her collegiate debut, connecting on a line drive single into left field to mark that goal completed.
Â
- Morgan Louviere is now 5-2 in 2025 after nearly notching a complete game shutout, making it four-and-a-third out of five innings with six hits allowed, zero walks and two whiffs whereas Miah Broussard retired the last two hitters in order.
Â
- Isabella Battaglia was the first of the aforementioned student-athletes to coax a free pass with the sacks full in order to drive home the game's opening run before scoring twice herself with her first career stolen base thrown in.
Â
- Lexi Broussard and Bevan Hartnett each singled once to make up the remainder of the base knocks, Bella Houck walked to reach safely, and Madelyn Bourgoyne was hit by a fastball which drove in the third run of the opening inning where none of the first three ribbies of the contest needed the bat to be swung.
