HAWKINS, Texas – The Louisiana Christian University softball program put eight runs on the scoreboard before the Jarvis Bulldogs could make a dent as they put the game in cruise control on their way to an 8-4 game one victory.

Wildcats Top Performers:

• Lexi Broussard really seemed to enjoy the number two in game one, going 2-for-2 with a pair of RBIs, runs scored, hit-by-pitches, and a swipe of second base.

• Addison Greak moved to 8-5 in the circle with 4.1 innings of three-run pitching while Morgan Louviere sealed the dub by limiting the Dogs for the remainder of the 2.2 frames to just one unearned run plus two whiffs.

• Bella Houck stayed white-hot, getting a hit in her 11th straight and reaching for the 15th consecutive game, doubling home a run and singling in addition to a walk, a score, and a steal.

• Both Madelyn Bourgoyne and Bevan Hartnett cracked doubles with the former's picking up a ribbie while Karlie Stine played small ball with a sacrifice fly.

• Run producers for the afternoon included Mariel Medrano as well as Reagan Duplechain while Carley Koch and Claire Cullen each got on-base courtesy of errant pitches that connected with their bodies, Medrano along with Cullen adding steals onto their stat lines.
