ALEXANDRIA, La. – The Louisiana Christian University softball program gave up runs in just one inning but a nine-run second negated the four unanswered by the Wildcats in the fifth and sixth, falling 9-4.

Wildcats Top Performers:

• Bella Houck became the first Wildcat since 2023 to record a double-digit hitting streak (10) when she herself did it, also upping her on-base strung to 14 consecutive games with a two-RBI double in addition to a base on balls.

• Katelyn Carpenter went a season-best 4.2 innings with a trio of strikeouts, yielding zero runs or hits and a pair of walks.

                       * Carpenter also swung the bat to her benefit as well, logging career hit and RBI number three simultaneously.

• Jordan Dauthier reached safely two times, both on ball fours, Lexi Broussard drove home a ribbie on top of scoring, and Brooke Ross doubled during her lone plate appearance.
