Wildcats Top Performers:

  • Emily Marks was the unnamed first-year from the opening paragraph, turning in her first career multi-hit showing with a pair of singles, one of those directly contributed to her first multi-RBI affair as she drove home both Karlie Stine as well as McKenzie Montgomery to cap the scoring for the Orange and Blue, all while coaxing a free pass and scoring too.

  • Bevan Hartnett produced a banner stat line in game two, setting a new personal-best for RBIs at three on a pair of singles.

  • Brooke Ross received the pitching decision after taking over with two down in the first, going 5.1 innings and yielding two runs while logging all four of LCU's whiffs.

  • Ross held down the fort for Miah Broussard to lock down her second save of the campaign, sitting the Eagles down in order.

  • Emma Hunt tallied her 13th multi-knock contest with three singles, two runs scored and a steal.

  • Bella Houck upped her on-base streak to the longest by a student-athlete in 2025 for the Wildcats, getting to a dozen straight during a 2-for-4 day.

  • Lexi Broussard wound up with another double to give her three across the twin-bill, driving in a run and scoring once.

Next:

  • The postponed Red River Rivalry doubleheader from all the way back on March 5 will finally go down this Saturday in Alexandria when the Wildcats and sixth-ranked Generals face off at 1/3 p.m. on-campus at "A".
