AUSTIN, Texas –The Louisiana Christian University softball program went through a gauntlet of emotions in the Lone Star capital during game two, heading into the sixth inning down 3-1 before scoring five runs to make it 6-3, then watching Huston-Tillotson erupt for a ten-piece in the bottom half as the Orange and Blue split the twin-bill after a 13-6 defeat.

Wildcats Top Performers:

  • Caydance Lobdell is now just a double shy of becoming the fourth Wildcat to have at least one of each type of hit this season (single, double, triple and home run), getting her first career three-bagger to drive home two while also walking and crossing the plate too.

  • Claire Cullen probably wishes the Rams showed up more on the schedule, capping off her stellar doubleheader with two more hits and an equal amount of ribbies, scoring once as well.

  • Bevan Hartnett and Bella Houck both squared up the softball twice as the former cracked a two-bagger while the latter poked through a pair of singles, coming all the way around to score on one of them.

  • Addison Greak was the only pitcher out of the five used to not give up a run in which they pitched at least one full frame, getting four outs before exiting.

  • The final extra-base hit came off of Madelyn Bourgoyne's bat, pushing across the tying run in that crazy sixth.
