PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University athletics program recognizes baseball's Coleman Haltom and women's tennis' Elizaveta Mikhailova as this week's LCU Student-Athletes of the Week, with the men earning RRAC Pitcher and Golfer of the Week, respectively.
 
Haltom, a senior from Olive Branch, Mississippi, made his first career start on Saturday, tying a career-high of 5.0 innings in which he gave up just one run, five hits and a walk while striking out three Saints. He led the Wildcats in ERA (1.80), WHIP (1.20), innings (5.0), and whiffs (3) on top of having two assists with zero errors as a fielder.
 
Mikhailova, a junior from Moscow, Russia, won all five matchups she completed over the weekend at the LSUA Tournament on top of building a comfortable lead in the one match she left unfinished (7⁷-6¹, 5-0). Against (RV) LSU Shreveport, Texas Wesleyan, and #11 Xavier (Louisiana), the former Bethel Pilot outscored her opponents by a combined margin of 37-14, all from the third flight during singles play, in addition to collaborating with Adjowa-Sika Geli in doubles competition to sweep those contests as well, 7⁷-6⁴, 6-4, 6-4, respectively.
