SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Louisiana Christian University baseball program got off to a disastrous start (eight runs in first two innings) then calmed down but the damage had already been done as Our Lady of the Lake threw cold water on the hot Wildcats in a sweep, 12-3.

Wildcats Top Performers:
- Harrison Waxley came in out of the bullpen to stop the bleeding, doing just that in two scoreless frames that saw him fan a pair.
- Logan Lobell and Caleb Duhon each tallied identical stat lines to lead the offensive production, both going 2-for-4 with an RBI.
- The men walked thrice and two of them came from the watchful eye of Logan Bertucci, who parlayed that into scoring.
- Caleb Brown made his collegiate starting lineup debut and delivered his first career hit (a double) and reached on a hit-by-pitch.
- Chris Kelley has the other extra-base knock, also cracking a two-bagger before promptly scoring.
Next:
- The Cats are currently scheduled to welcome the [Bull]dogs from Jarvis on Friday and Saturday but the weather could impact those plans and switch it to a Thursday / Friday series instead.
