SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Louisiana Christian University baseball program clung to a 2-0 lead entering the bottom of the fifth, however, six unanswered runs by the Saints (two in fifth, four in sixth) handed the Pineville Nine its first loss since the first day of March, 6-2 in seven.

Wildcats Top Performers:
- Chris Kelley looked to have knocked in the winning runs when he dumped the ball in front of the right fielder to score both Harrison Waxley from third and Brady Huffman at second base, but it was not to be.
- Cy Fontenot followed up his Red River Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week victory with another worthy outing, allowing two runs on six hits with one walk over five strong innings, punching out two batters while averaging a groundout per frame.
- Nick Lorio was the one student-athlete to reach safely on multiple occasions, picking up a two-bagger and a base on balls.
- Huffman logged the other extra-base knock, doubling himself, while Waxley opened the hitting column with an opposite way single through the right side of the infield.
