Wildcats Top Performers:

  • Morgan Louviere used the pitch-to-contact strategy brilliantly in improving to 3-2, giving up zero earned runs (one unearned) while scattering about eight singles during a complete game performance that saw her strike out just one foe and walk nobody.

  • Madelyn Bourgoyne had the clutch gene today as the usual defensive stud posted her first career multi-hit affair for the Cats, going 2-for-3 with the go-ahead two-out RBI-single in the club's second-to-final at-bat.

  • Bevan Hartnett crushed the only extra-base hit that either side could muster in the nightcap, opening the scoring with a single through the 5-6 hole in the first before mashing a double later on.

  • Bella Houck contributed both a knock and one of the ladies' two free passes, Claire Cullen had a single, Mariel Medrano picked up the other walk prior to taking second with her speed, and McKenzie Montgomery came across as the winning run to make the best of her pinch-running abilities.
