PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University softball program benefited from a bang-bang judgment call by the umpire on the final out of game one that would have tied the contest at six if she was ruled safe, escaping with a 6-5 triumph over the TAMUSA Jaguars.
The Wildcats were hitting the outfield gaps with precision in the first matchup, doubling their previous season-high for two-baggers with a half-dozen by five separate student-athletes.
