Â
TEXARKANA, Texas – The Louisiana Christian University women's basketball program trailed for the first 37 minutes of the ballgame and fell behind by as much as 16 points midway through the third quarter, but the Wildcats outscored the Eagles 30 to 13 in the final period to knock off Texas A&M-Texarkana by three, 74-71.
Â
The comeback was the club's biggest of 2024-25 by four points (November 23 at North American) while
Princis Goff had as many points in the fourth quarter alone (13) than the entire TAMUT team (13).
Â
Part of Coach Phillips' success came from the fact that the Cats drew a season-high 25 personal fouls, including knocking Texarkana's leading scorer Kayla Williams (22) out of the contest via foul trouble.
