Â
- Cy Fontenot continues to spin high-quality gems but yet to receive the run support, putting together a quality start consisting of six two-run (one earned) innings and just a single walk, despite not having his usual strikeout pitch working (one K).
Â
- Tyler McKenna was responsible for two of the club's five hits (40%) and its lone knock that went for extra bases (double).
Â
- Nick Lorio had the one RBI that was put into play without outs being recorded, giving the Cats a 2-1 lead in the fifth with a single through the middle that scored Harrison Waxley, who had singled and then had stolen second two batters later.
