Cats Clinch First Winning Season Since 2021-22 With 82-70 Victory At TC

 
PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University men's basketball program tripled last season's win total (5 to 15) and more than quadrupled its conference tally (3 to 14) as they secured their first winning season since their RRAC debut campaign with a 80-72 win at Texas College on Saturday afternoon.
 
After recording a season-most 29 personal fouls in their matchup with the Steers on Thursday, the Cats flipped the script with their fewest of 2024-25 at just 14 while boxing out the home five in limiting them to a year-low of 22 rebounds given up en route to a +11 margin.

  • Drew Tebbe saw a season-high 35 minutes on the Taylor Gym's hardwood with a personal-record of four field goals, the most this year, and a Wildcats-high three dimes.
 
  • Chukwuemeke Nwaoshai accounted for a quartet of blocked shots on his own accord, 66.7% of the game total, producing eight points plus five rebounds (three on offense).
 
  • Kevin Wiltz swished a personal-best of three buckets which translated to seven points in as many minutes and Jon'Quarius McGhee put together nine points, averaging a point per every 40 seconds.
