Wildcats Top Performers:
Â
- On a slick night where defense was not the Cats' strong suit, right fielder Karlie Stine shone brightly, snagging a career-high five putouts including a few lunging and leaping grabs up against the wall in addition to her first sacrifice fly as a batter at LCU.
Â
- Mariel Medrano had the other run batted in for the Orange and Blue, lacing a ball back up the middle (her specialty this season) to drive home the final run of the night.
Â
- Both Miah Broussard and Claire Cullen shared the same stat line at the plate, each going 1-for-2 (.500) with a double before ultimately scoring.
