PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University softball program gave up four runs in the top of the first, got two of them back, then yielded six unanswered in the fourth as #21 LSU Alexandria took the Red River Athletic Conference opening game of 2025, 10-2 in five.

Wildcats Top Performers:
- Jordan Dauthier provided some much-needed thump in the bottom of the opening frame, lifting a two-RBI moon ball over the ad-filled left field wall, to cut the deficit in half (4-2) with her second home run of the campaign while also singling once during a 2-of-3 (.667) start to RRACtion.
- Emma Hunt drew the Wildcats' lone walk of the afternoon, leading off the game with four balls and then promptly scoring two batters later thanks to her catcher.
- Brooke Ross pitched 1.2 innings of relief and fanned three Generals as part of her five outs recorded.
