Dynamic Duo of Goff & LeBlanc Lead Wildcats To Fourth Straight Win

DALLAS, Texas –The Louisiana Christian University women's basketball program is peaking at the right time, extending its winning streak to four-in-a-row behind a pair of monster afternoons by Princis Goff and Kylei Leblanc to dispatch Paul Quinn by a final of 77-69.

The Orange and Blue got back to playing bully ball on the glass, posting a +19 rebounding margin of 51-32 while both teams finished the game with the exact same number of both free throws made and attempted (20-for-25, 80%).

LCU came out on fire and never let off the gas, out-scoring the Tigers by 13 in the first quarter (23-10) and never looking back.

Wildcats Top Performers:

  • Goff makes the extraordinary look routine on a daily basis, notching her ninth double-double of 2024-25 and 16th as a Wildcat, posting her 15th game of the year with at least 20 points scored on top of a season-high 12 rebounds while also going 10-of-10 from the free throw line and logging four assists.

  • Leblanc also saw the stat sheet using double-double vision, doing so for the fifth time thanks to a personal/game-best 14 boards in addition to 13 points and a campaign-most three assists, throwing in a trio of blocks into the mix too.

  • Deja Tanks was one of three ladies to have a double-digit point total (15) and two with three blocks (career-high), but she was the only one to accomplish both, snagging eight rebounds as well.

  • DaKayla Howard led all players with five assists while tying with McKayla Price and Jakiya Thompson for the defensive lead regarding steals (3), the first two student-athletes tying season-beats in the process.
