PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University women's basketball program saw one of its own reach a significant career milestone but saw its four-game winning streak snapped in the process as the Texas College Steers stunned the Wildcats on Senior Night for the second straight season in a 83-78 overtime loss.
 
The ladies fell to 0-2 for the season in overtime affairs despite sinking a season-high 32 free throws and in spite of a whooping 59 fouls between the Wildcats and Steers.

• In just her 52nd career appearance as a Wildcat, Princis Goff has already cemented herself as one of the best scorers in school history, reaching 1,000 career points at LCU, heading into this weekend's regular season finale sitting on 1,007 after a 22-point effort on Thursday.

 
                    * The junior did so on the strength of a 7-of-14 (50%) overall shooting spree to go along with her tenth double-double of the year (17th of her career) courtesy of ten boards too. 
 

• McKayla Price notched her first ever double-double in conjunction with Goff, grabbing a career/game-most 11 rebounds and cobbling together 12 points, primarily from the line (season-high eight free throws made).

 

• Deja Tanks had a solid home finale, dropping ten points and eight boards onto the stat line while fellow senior DaKayla Howard led the Wildcats in assists (4) on top of eight points and five rebounds as well.

 

• Jakiya Thompson handed out a trio of dimes while snatching up five boards and an equal number of points while the third senior, Yahzmynne Andrews, got in for a brief period of time.
