Hot-Shooting Men Cruise Past Paul Quinn, Back To .500

 
DALLAS, Texas – The Louisiana Christian University men's basketball program was on a heater in the Lone Star State as the weather heated up back home as well, making quick work of PQC in a comfortable 88-73 decision.
 
Firing on all cylinders might be an understatement as the men from Pineville made more than half of its shots for the fourth time (34-of-66, 51.5%), all wins, topped 20+ assists (24) for the second time, committed less than ten turnovers (9) for the third time, blocked a season-high seven shots, and boasted a +10 or better rebounding margin (41-29, +12) rebounding margin for the seventh time, excelling in every phase of the game.

  • Drew Tebbe put together a balanced statistical sheet, going for a career-most six rebounds plus eight points and a match-high six assists.
 
  • Bryce Weinmunson has been consistently solid all year long, topping his previous personal record with seven buckets while pouring in 17 points on a trio of triples and an equal amount of dimes.
 
  • Finally, Jon'Quarius McGhee was borderline perfect minus two turnovers, tallying 14 bench points in 19 minutes, four rebounds, two steals, two assists, and a blocked shot as he went 5-for-5 overall, 2-of-2 from distance, and made both of his freebies.
