ALEXANDRIA, La. – The Louisiana Christian University softball program concluded its annual tournament with a comfortable victory over Central Christian Saturday morning as
Addison Greak went the distance while the offense used small ball to slowly build and maintain the upper-hand with the Cats end the weekend on a high note, 6-1.

- Greak pitched just her second career complete game, not walking a single Tiger batter in addition to three strikeouts during seven one-run innings.

- Speedster Emma Hunt ran her steal streak to four straight to open the campaign, swiping a base as part of a 2-for-3 (.667) showing at the plate as she drove in a run and scored herself, winding up the only player with a multi-hit morning.

- Mariel Medrano played situational softball to perfection by cashing in a pair of RBIs, both on sacrifice flies, as well as a knock.

- Other essentials of station-to-station fundamentals were present including a pair of sac bunts by Claire Cullen and Jordan Dauthier, stolen bases by Hunt and Madelyn Bourgoyne, and taking one for the team courtesy of the starting pitcher wearing a hit-by-pitch at the dish.

- Hannah Harrison logged the lone extra-base hit (double) which brought home Greak to go along with multiple runs scored (2) and a free pass.

- Lexi Broussard scored both times she got on the basepaths, singling and walking before making her way around the diamond.
