Record Book Watch:

Team

  • By scoring 72 points, the Orange and Blue moved into fifth place on that list at 828, moving past the 2017 squad's mark of 824.

Career

  • Jones shares sixth on the all-time matches played leaderboard with I'Nyah Kately (2018-21) following the twin-bill, having each suited up 77 times.

  • The other career milestone was for Abby Revell, whose solo stuff gives her nine at LCU to tie with teammates Katie Spell and Kate Campbell along with Michelle Iroh (2021-22) for fifth-highest.

Season

  • Stamps slid past both Cabree Bourg's 2018 campaign (239) and Jaslyn Bright's 2018 season (257) to secure fifth on the single-season digs ladder, finishing the trip with 266.

  • Cother's name keeps rising higher across the record books, tying for the fourth-most assists in a year at 468 (same as Paris Babino in 2019) on top of hopping into sixth for service aces at 25, leapfrogging Said Jones' fall of 2021 in the process.

Next:

  • An undefeated start to Red River Athletic Conference play gets its biggest test to date on Friday and Saturday as the Cats return to New Orleans for a double date with the back-to-back-to-back conference champion Xavier (Louisiana) Gold Nuggets.
