PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University volleyball program clinched its third straight season with double-digit victories and tied for the school's longest winning streak ever at five in-a-row after hogtying the Steers of Texas College in its fifth consecutive sweep.

- Kate Campbell took center stage offensively on Saturday afternoon as the only player on either side with a double-figure kill total, smacking 12 (4.00 p/s) courtesy of a .348 hitting percentage.

- Jessica Smith and Emma Cother each collected a pair of aces to lead the squad (0.67 p/s), the latter adding 20 assists (6.67 p/s) to her ever growing tally.

- Kierra Jones got back on track hitting-wise, bouncing back with seven kills in 13 attempts and just two errors (.385 hit %) while continuing to throw a block party at the net with another three on the day and Summer Martin went up to help on two of those.

- The backline's rock, Leah Stamps, captained the defense and held down the barrage with 13 digs (4.33 p/s).

- A milestone first career point was scored by Jenna Seilhan, the freshman getting on the board with a service ace.

- Smith broke her tie with I'Nyah Kately (2018-21) in one category, assists (sixth at 102) and tied her again in another, service aces (fifth at 52).

- Cother made a big leap from unranked to seventh on the single-season aces list, knocking off Olivia Huval's 2017 total of 22 and tying with three teammates at 23 currently.

- Stamps emerged from the sweep in seventh place on the single-season digs top-ten, passing Cother's total from the year prior on the afternoon with 238 for 2024.

- For the third time this campaign, LCU has compiled one of the program's ten best hitting percentages in a match, tying with their triumph at Centenary (Louisiana) on August 30th for eighth-highest by producing a .300 mark.

- It was fun to be home while it lasted, but the Cats head back onto the road for the next month once again, beginning with the Loyola (New Orleans) Tri-Match on Saturday, first against William Carey at 1 p.m. then followed by the Wolfpack at 3 p.m. inside The Den.
