Record Book Watch:

Team

  • The Orange and Blue moved into fifth on the program's all-time single-season list regarding a trio of categories; service aces (102), block assists (100), and total blocks (68).

Career

  • Jones is now the program's leader in all three career blocking categories after rising to the top of the solos statistic Friday, registering two to claim first place with 41, putting Sadi Jones (2017-21) in the rearview mirror.

  • Leah Stamps slid past Graduate Assistant Aniah Adams (2019-23) for fourth on the career sets played leaderboard with 303 and Jones moved to sixth on the same list (253), unseating I'Nyah Kately (2018-21).

  • Smith tied Kately for seventh on the Wildcats' assists category, earning number 101.

Season

  • Jones also made her way to the number three spot on the single-season solo blocks list, recording her eighth and ninth of the year.

  • Stamps is eighth on the single-season digs leaderboard after the sweep of Texas College, as her 225 for the campaign is more than both Paris Babino's in 2018 (221) and Olivia Huval's of the same season (223).

Next:

  • More history is on the line in game two as the women from Pineville go for its fifth win in as many outings, which would tie for the best string the squad has ever had and a noon first serve could see Louisiana Christian notch its third consecutive ten-win season.
