(RV) Louisiana Christian Wildcats:
 

• LCU passed its first test of the season despite missing its top goal scorer, Sergio Pita Martin, scoring three unanswered goals including a pair in the second half to break the 1-1 tie at intermission and hand Texas Wesleyan its second straight loss.

 

• Freshman Pedro Sao Tiago from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil made one heck of a first impression in front of the Wildcats faithful, logging two assists on both non-PK scores to rank second nationally during the early going, in addition to three shots and one on-target.

 

• Adrian Amoros Navarro was in midseason form, tying for the team-high of six shots, five of which were on-goal and his second career penalty kick goal.

 

• Joao Pedro Giraldez Franco had the go-ahead goal in the 67th minute, his fifth at Louisiana Christian and Guilherme Mendes maintained his perfect career shot percentage (1.000) as the Portuguese senior converted his lone shot attempt into a dent on the scoreboard.

 

• Thiago Lopes also put together a half-dozen shots towards the keeper, one-third of them SOGs while Shakeem Walters launched a quartet of rockets.
