PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University athletics program have three different teams eyeing their first Red River Athletic Conference Tournament Championships this week with softball hosting the event for the first time.

Men's Golf:

John Nobles' bunch has already hit the green for day one of the tournament as the event will run from Monday, April 29 through Wednesday, May 2 with the winning team getting the automatic bid to Nationals as well as the individual champion if he so happens to come from a club that did not come in first place overall.

Softball:Â

For the first time in school history, a Conference Tournament will setup shop right here on "The Hill" as the top eight teams converge at
Wildcat Park from Thursday, May 2 to Sunday, May 5 with the host Wildcats holding the #4 seed and will open the double-elimination bracket in the first game at 9 a.m. Thursday morning versus #5 Texas A&M-Texarkana.

Baseball:

The Diamond Cats of the baseball diamond will participate in their conference tournament simultaneously with the ladies on-campus as the baseball round-robin takes place approximately two hours or 107 miles north in Sterlington, Louisiana at the Sterlington Sports Complex where the men are locked into the #5 seed and will not know their fourth-seeded opponent until Tuesday night. The first pitch of the Opening Round will take place on Thursday at 1 p.m. for the Orange and Blue.
