SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Louisiana Christian University softball program was just the latest victim on this merciless run the #1 Our Lady of the Lake are currently on, as the Saints won their 28th and 29th consecutive ballgames, 8-0 and 10-0, both in five.

  • Lexie Marks was one of the few Wildcats to crack the OLLU code, going 2-for-2 with a pair of singles in the nightcap while drawing one of four walks before stealing a base in the game one no-hitter by OLLU.

 
  • Katelyn Carpenter was solid, throwing two innings of one-run softball while striking out a pair and walking none.

 
  • Emma Hunt stole the other bag on the afternoon as well as knocking through a seeing eye single and coaxing two free passes.

  • The ladies from CenLa will move just five miles away for its next doubleheader opposite the TAMUSA Jaguars at noon and 2 p.m. on Saturday in an effort to bounce back.
