Wildcats Top Performers:

  • Caleb Duhon was the hero of game one, blasting a bases empty home run in the top of the third which was ultimately the winning/final run of the day while notching a single, stealing a base and then scoring in game two.

  • Harrison Waxley was 3-for-6 (.500) as he drove home three baserunners, walked once, and legged out a triple.

  • The dynamic duo of Dylan Beier (4.2 IP) and Jacob Bareswell (2.1 IP) banded together to hold U of M to only a single run and five hits without giving up a free pass as the former got the win on top of three strikeouts as the latter shut the door with a pair of whiffs.

  • Braden Trull was stellar, getting on-base in both matchups, garnering a single, a hit-by-pitch, a walk and crossed home plate two times.

  • Hunter Gotreaux came to the dish and lifted a sac fly and Zac Bacilla swiped second as a pinch runner to wrap up the offensive notables.
