PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University women's basketball program was left with a sour taste in their mouths to wrap up the first half of the campaign as the University of the Southwest (New Mexico) forced 26 Wildcats miscues as LCU's -14 turnover differential was ultimately their downfall during a 71-58 defeat.

- DaKayla Howard was one of two Wildcats to tie a career-high, recording eight boards plus a season/game-best three steals while fronting the Orange and Blue with four assists.

- Kylei Leblanc had her highest rebounding tally of her debut season on "The Hill", leading all players at 14 (five offensive) on top of three dimes (2024-high), seven points, two blocks, and a pair of steals.

- Princis Goff was the other student-athlete to match a personal benchmark, doing so with a trio of swats to go along with her fifth double-double of the season, posting a contest-most 22 points which included three treys and an even ten rebounds to give her a dozen double-doubles under Coach Phillips.

- McKayla Price had a pretty stat line off the bench, draining half of her ten shot attempts for 13 points as well as five rebounds.
