Hot Start Fizzles Out As Generals Take First Leg Of Red River Rivalry

ALEXANDRIA, La. – The Louisiana Christian University women's basketball program started the night off strong by racing out to a 22-12 advantage after the first period, but the homestanding squad in Purple and Gold stormed back with a 16-point edge (26-10) in the second frame to move in front for good during an 80-68 setback on Monday.

Over the first ten minutes of action, LCU had shot 58.8% (10-of-17) while limiting LSUA to a measly 23.5% (4-for-17) during that same span.
