Women’s Basketball Prevails in Rock Fight vs. Paul Quinn

 
PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University women's basketball program and Paul Quinn College squad barely cracked the century mark between the two teams, but the Wildcats did just enough to squeak out a 54-51 triumph in the end.

  • Princis Goff registered double-double number 11 as a Wildcat and her fourth of 2024-25 as she was responsible for nearly 40% of the scoring for Head Coach Anna Phillips with an LCU-best 21 plus tying two other players for the rebounding crown at 11.
 
  • Kaitlyn Antilley fronted the defense with a personal-high three steals to go along with five points.
 
  • Deja Tanks was one of the other women with 11 boards, the third time in the past four games that she has hit that exact number, while finishing second on the team at eight points and blocking the home team's lone shot despite being a reserve.
 
  • M'Kiyiah Olivier has now connected on a three-pointer in each of the last four matchups, knocking down multiple money balls for the first time as a collegian during a short nine-minute timeframe.
 
  • Kylei Leblanc was the final Cat to pick up one short of a dozen rebounds, doing most of her damage on the offensive boards with six second chance opportunities and DaKayla Howard was the assists leader with a trio as both ladies scored six points a pop.
