- Devin Carter roared off the bench and delivered a point per minute, dropping a contest-high 25 onto the home side in large part due to going 6-of-9 (66.7%) from beyond the arch and making a season-best eight baskets over 14 tries (57.1%).
- An Edwards, Mississippi native, Carter has put at least 15 points on the scoreboard in all eight of his appearances for the Orange and Blue with half of those yielding 20-plus points, averaging 20.6 a night for the young campaign.
- Chukwuemeke Nwaoshai almost put together his second double-double in-a-row, scoring ten points and recording a game-most nine boards in addition to a block plus an assist, shooting 57.1% primarily from the paint (4-for-7).
- Joseph Holloway set a new 2024-25 personal-record for rebounds at seven and picked multiple Bulldogs' pockets for the third time this year while tacking on five points in the meantime.
- Drew Tebbe nearly had a perfect 4-for-4 on the evening, surprisingly missing his lone two-point attempt while swishing all three of his long balls as well as an equal number of free throws for a dozen points and a quartet of rebounds.
- Freshman Tomario Thomas registered a pair of collegiate firsts in the Mississippi capital, launching and connecting for his first career three-pointer on top of dishing out his first dime.
