Record Book Watch:
Career
- Sao Tiago is in fourth place on the all-time game-winners leaderboard in year one as a collegian, sending his fourth career goal past the keeper.
- Lima made his debut on the matches played top-ten and is now sitting at ninth by appearing in game #59 of his time at LCU, tying with Joe Saverino (2006-09).
- Walters tied with Adrian Amoros Navarro, who has been inactive the past two matches and has not scored since October 17, as the runner-up in goals by a Wildcat by notching his 27th Thursday, five behind Pita Maritn for the lead.
Team
- The only team in program history to ever crack the top-25 has now rose to the top-three in various statistical departments including points (108), corner kicks (99), assists (30), goals (39), and shots-on-goal (130).
Season
- Tiago leapt to fifth on the single-season points ladder, bumping Alvaro Tudanca's fall 2021 mark down a peg as the freshman now sports 24 while also becoming just the sixth student-athlete ever with double-figure goals in a season with his tenth and his fourth GW is tied for the top spot season-wise.
- Lima is on an absolute heater in terms of racking up assists, as his half-dozen so far ranks fourth-best.
Next:
- The regular season championship went to LSU Shreveport again following their victory over Texas College on Wednesday, but the Wildcats will be either the second, third or fourth seed in the RRAC Tournament depending on the outcome at Xavier on Saturday, being named the runner-up with a win.
