Wildcats Top Performers:
- Princis Goff continues to raise the bar with each passing matchup, recording a season-high for free throws made (10), rebounds (15), steals (6), and assists (3). She shot 50% from the floor (9-for-18), her 29 points, 15 boards and six steals led all participants, plus the double-double was the fourth of the year.
- Deja Tanks was up to the challenge of being a suitable wing woman of destruction as the TC defense could not handle the former LSU Eunice batterymates. Tanks also made exactly half of her field goal attempts (7-of-14), produced a campaign-best 21 points and seven free throws on top of 14 rebounds en route to her team-leading fifth double-double and third in-a-row.
- Olivia Scott mirrored Goff and Tanks with an even 50% field goal percentage at 6-for-12, turning those buckets into 13 points with a three-pointer tossed in.
- DaKayla Howard setup most of the easy baskets for the trio above, lending out a Wildcats-most five assists in addition to Yahzmynne Andrews swiping a new 2023-24 high watermark for steals at three.
Notes:
- Coach Phillips' warriors had their best day from the charity stripe this season, cashing in 24-of-31 (77.4%) freebies.
