PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University men's basketball program had its best offensive night of the season by far at LSUA, setting season-highs for points (88), three-pointers (10), field goals (36), and field goal percentage (53.7%, 36-for-67), but the hosts deployed too much firepower of their own in a 95-88 loss.

- D'Marcus Fugett was the spark plug for the offense and the LCU fans in attendance, knocking down 66.7% of his 12 shots with a career-best eight makes to go along with a season-best 17 points and a team-best three assists.

- Gary Smith recorded his third game of 20+ points in the club's past five contests, topping the Cats with 20 points and four threes, hitting on 40% from deep.

- Drew Tebbe was also feeling it from downtown, splashing all three of his career-high three long range shots and shooting 62.5% (5-of-8) overall en route to a solid 13-point performance.

- Jude Akabueze hauled in a Wildcat-most nine boards (six offensive) on top of 13 points and a pair of swats as he connected on 6-of-10 from the floor.

- Malik Criner swished his first career three-ball and nabbed his first collegiate steal on the evening as well as a season-high three buckets.

- At the midway point of the RRAC slate, the Cats now sit two games back of Our Lady of the Lake for the eighth and final spot in the conference tournament, but they do currently hold the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Saints.
