PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University men's basketball program rained down a campaign-high 12 three-pointers on its way to a season-best 94 points as the Cats grounded the Eagles for its second win in the past week, dropping Texas A&M-Texarkana by a 94-87 final tally.

- Gary Smith caught fire from distance and rode that to a career-best six triples in 11 attempts (54.5%) while ending the night with a contest-best 25 points on top of four boards, three assists and his first block of 2023-24.

- Branthony Brown posted double-digits in scoring for the first time in his career at ten points on a perfect 4-of-4 night from the field in addition to a personal-record five boards.

- Konnor DeJean nearly did something no Wildcat had done in two years, missing a ten-assist evening by one dime as he ultimately settled for a career-most nine plus five points and four rebounds too.

- D'Marcus Fugett was a well-rounded beast, recording career-highs in rebounds (8), free throws made (8), and assists (7) while singlehandedly salting the game away late with seemingly every board leading to freebies at the other end down the stretch.

- Jon'Quarius McGhee connected for a quartet of buckets to make half of his shots from the court and finish with 11 points and Jude Akabueze managed to collect ten points, five rebounds, and two blocks despite just 13 minutes of action.
