Wildcats Top Performers:
Â
- Deja Tanks was omnipresent, blowing up for a contest-high 15 rebounds in addition to 16 points for her sixth double-double of the year while nine of her boards came on second chance opportunities.
Â
- Princis Goff has now led the offense in the scoring department during every game outside of the season opener, running her current top dog stretch to a dozen in-a-row while scooping up seven boards and multiple steals.
Â
- Maya Washington had her best night of the season to-date, recording nine points on four field goals on top of five boards and going 4-of-6 (66.7%) from the floor.
Â
Â
Notes
Â
- Since joining the Red River Athletic Conference, the two hoops squads have alternated wins, dropping the only contest in Austin while going 2-1 on "The Hill".
Â
- Similar to the men, HTU jacked up three-pointers all night and the Wildcats' defense held firm, ceding just four treys and a 20% (4-for-20) conversion rate, both season-lows.
