(RV) Louisiana Christian Wildcats:

  • A well-rested, battle-tested Wildcats club enters Saturday fresh after last playing on Labor Day and saw its stock rise in their absence by picking up 12 votes in the latest top 25 poll.

  • Rodrigo Silva came out on top in a crowded goalkeeper room and has all 360 minutes of game time in the net, posting a shutout his last time out with 17 saves and a 60.7% save rate over four matches.

  • Pedro Rivera was nominated by Head Coach David Castillo for his gutsy showing in the win over the WBU Eagles, earning himself a RRAC Defensive Player of the Week accolade for the effort.

LSU Alexandria Generals:

  • Do not let LSU Alexandria's record of 1-3 deceive you, they have had almost as difficult a non-conference schedule as LCU did, beating (RV) USAO on the road and dropping a trio of tightly contested matchups at #9 William Carey, (RV) Williams Baptist, and #24 Bethel (Tennessee).

  • The Generals have scored thrice in four games, two coming off the leg of Daniel Torrenegra and the other courtesy of Manuel Concetti, with Concetti setting up one of the former's two goals.

  • Valeriu Tarlev, similar to Silva, has also spent every second of every match between the pipes, netting 20 saves, cataloging a 1.50 GAA, and a 76.9% save percentage.
