PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University men's and women's soccer programs have a home-heavy slate this fall as they rolled out their 2023 schedules on Friday morning.

The highlight for
David Castillo's guys is playing host to NCAA Division II adversary Mississippi College while Kendall Ayers' ladies welcome nine different teams to Wildcat Field including four straight at home to end the regular season.

The Cats kickoff the campaign with a pair of powerhouses in the Peach State when they invade the campus of Dalton State for a neutral site match with Georgia Gwinnett on August 24Â before going toe-to-toe with the host Roadrunners on the same pitch two days later.

The Lady Cats will also get the year underway on the road August 26, making the trip to Hattiesburg for a 2021 NAIA Tournament First Round rematch at William Carey.

Both clubs' debut on the Wildcat Field turf with a pair of doubleheaders pitting themselves against both Williams Baptist as well as Bethel (Tennessee) on September 2 and 4.

The non-conference slate will wrap-up just a few days later for the women as they journey down to the Gulf Coast of Alabama to tangle with Mobile (September 9) and the men conclude it's out-of-conference matchups with a sturdy test smack dab in the middle of the Red River gauntlet when the Choctaws of Mississippi College (October 1) come to town.

RRACtion begins with a bang on September 16 when the crosstown rival LSUA Generals make the short trek across the river to LCU in a crucial league opener.

Once the "Red River Rivalry" ends, the programs will board the buses for its furthest road trip of the campaign with Hobbs, New Mexico being the first stop on September 21 (Southwest) before hitting up Dallas, Texas on its way back to Pineville for a September 23 clash (Paul Quinn).

A weekend homestand opposite the Texas HBCUs awaits next with the Bulldogs of Jarvis Christian arriving on September 28 prior to the Steers of Texas College moseying on over to pay a visit on September 30.

The final eight matchups of the season will provide significant challenges but also advantages for the Orange and Blue clad student-athletes as it contains both the longest road stretch as well as the biggest homestand of the year back-to-back.

From October 5 through 14, the Wildcats will rack up some mileage as they explore northwestern Louisiana and eastern Texas, traveling to Texas A&M-Texarkana (October 5), LSU Shreveport (October 7), Huston-Tillotson (October 12), and Houston-Victoria (October 14) wearing their road kits.

The Cats will their push for the regular season championship from inside the friendly confines of Wildcat Field as Texas A&M-San Antonio starts it off on October 19, Our Lady of the Lake follows behind the Jaguars on October 21, Red River newcomer North American makes its first appearance on October 26, and Senior Night will take place after the conclusion of the home football game versus SAGU on October 28 opposite the fledgling Xavier (Louisiana) soccer programs.
