(RV) Louisiana Christian Wildcats:
 

• The squad opened the 2023 season with a tie against fellow top-ten opponent #8 Georgia Gwinnett on Thursday night.

 

• Despite racking up double-digit penalties, the Cats played hard but clean against the Grizzlies, not recording a single card compared to three by GGC in a span of only seven fouls.

 

• In an albeit extremely small sample size, Rodrigo Silva was electric, notching seven saves with a .875 save percentage to rank among the top-30 keepers nationwide on the young campaign.

 

• Sergio Pita Martin scored the lone goal for LCU, nailing one home in the 52nd minute to net the equalizer.

 

• Natty Essomba put together three shots (one on-goal) for just the fourth time in his career to front the team while two other teammates excluding Pita Martin landed shots on-target.

 
#4 Dalton State Roadrunners:
 

• In 2022, DSC ended the regular season as the top team in the NAIA and earned the #1 overall seed in the National Tournament.

 

• So far this year, the Blue and Gray have scored five goals plus an equal number of assists with ten different players contributing to the stat sheet, showing off their impressive depth.

 

• Dalton State began with a 1-1 draw at Reinhardt last week before pummeling Brescia in a 4-0 shutout that saw the tournament hosts out-shoot the visitors by a 26-3 margin.
