SOFTBALL: Late rally dooms Wildcats in loss

BATON ROUGE- The Wildcats took a late scoring loss to Alabama A&M on Saturday morning, in a 12-6 defeat. The Wildcats collected eight hits despite the loss, but Alabama A&M out hit the 'Cats with 14.

 

LCU scored three runs in the 5th, scoring was led by freshman Claire Cullen, then a double by sophomore Jordan Dauthier.

 

Freshman Arlee Darbonne took the loss for the Wildcats, Darbonne gave up 12 runs on 14 hits, over six innings, striking out one. 

 

Sophomore Emma Hunt and Cullen both put up multiple hits for the 'Cats, Hunt went 3-for-4 and led the Wildcats at the plate. LCU had a clean defensive game, committing no errors.
