Tanks & Goff Both Log Double-Doubles In Dominant Win Over Ladies

 
PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University women's basketball program led for all but four minutes while riding the backs of their two superstars on its way to a 21-point rout of the Centenary College Ladies, 87-66.

Wildcats Top Performers: 
 
  • Deja Tanks logged a season/game-most 16 rebounds and five field goals made while dropping 14 points for her third double-double of her eight-contest LCU career.
 
  • Princis Goff joined Tanks with her third double-double of the season as well, notching more steals herself (5) than the entire visiting squad combined (4), scoring a contest-high 28 points plus ten boards and shooting 63.2% (12-of-19).
 
  • Olivia Scott drained a career-best four triples to account for all of her 12 points to go along with three dimes.
 
  • DaKayla Howard was an assist assassin, piling up a career-high seven assists and a 2023-high five boards.
   
  • Jakiya Thompson made the most of her first career start, totaling six assists, six rebounds, and four points.

  • Louisiana Christian continues to set new offensive precedents nightly with the latest iteration bringing team-bests in field goals made (36), 28 offensive rebounds, 25 assists, and seven three-pointers while also allowing the Centenary defense to swipe only four steals.
