Cold Shooting Night From Deep Allows Mustangs To Escape Past Wildcats

PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University women's basketball program committed its fewest fouls (13) and gave away its second-lowest number of turnovers (14) of the season while holding a run-and-gun Mustangs offense to just 65 points, but a woeful day from beyond the arc (2-for-15, 13.3%) gave Southwest (New Mexico) just enough wiggle room to squeeze out a 65-64 decision.
