TEXARKANA, Texas – The Louisiana Christian University men's basketball program played the first of two consecutive games inside the Patterson Student Center on the campus of Texas A&M-Texarkana on Black Friday, falling by a final of 77-56 in a neutral site matchup with Central Baptist College, 77-56.

Wildcats Top Performers:
 
  • Drew Tebbe was absolutely brilliant on a day where not much went right for LCU, setting personal/game-bests for minutes (38), points (20) and field goals (7) while also knocking down both of his three-pointers for his first multi-triple contest (which were the only two makes from distance for the team as a whole).
 
  • D'Marcus Fugett led the Orange and Blue with seven rebounds on the afternoon, a new career-high, while also blocking the club's lone shot attempt and putting seven points on the board as well.
 
  • Malik Criner was second on the Wildcats with eight points and six boards, shooting 50% from the field over six shots.
 
  • Parker Batterton recorded himself a steal, an assist and a rebound in just nine minutes off the bench.
